Why Kyiv?
Kyiv, the city of seven hills
Italian city of Rome proudly bears a title of a "city of seven hills", however many other cities across the globe claim the same title. Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine is one of them. You can literally feel each hill as you go explore this ancient and beautiful city, but I think the best way to see them all (or at least most of them) is if you take a Dnipro river cruise from the River Port at the Podil neighbourhood.

Let's begin with one of my favorite cafes, out of all that I often go to first thing in the morning. Coffee and the City cafe has one of the best goddamn Flat Whites I have ever tasted in Ukraine.

Espresso Bar Without Doors
If you are looking to explore a cafe culture somewhere that is not in Kyiv Old Town, Без Дверей Espresso Bar, or Espresso Bar Without Doors, is a great cafe if you prefer having your morning coffee and breakfast in an open-air environment.

ONE LOVE Coffee
If you are looking for a minimalist cafe with a great view of Kyiv from above, I couldn't recommend ONE LOVE Coffee cafe more. It is located on the 6th floor of Pinchuk Art Centre where you will have to go through security and such, but I can assure you, it is totally worth it.
